Parliament's Justice and Correctional Services Portfolio Committee will request the Speaker of the National Assembly to summons G4S Correction Services to appear before the committee. This, was after G4S failed to appear before the committee to explain the escape of Thabo Bester from the Mangaung Correctional Centre. The company sent its lawyers instead.
